I have a love and hate relationship with spicy food. There are times when I crave for just about anything spicy but when i get to eat one, I would just give up after the food hit my tolerance level.  And in those times when I kinda salivate for it, I go to any Korean restaurant to get the quick fix. There are numerous restaurants which specialize in Korean food that are still open in the wee hours of the morning. I get off from work usually at one in the morning and I go to any of the three Korean restaurants nearest to my office. My choices are always Oppa, Yisan, and Kimchi and these are all in and or near Walking Street which is just outside Clark here in Pampanga. The three restos offer just about the same menu and they just differ in the quality and taste of the food and in the ambiance or vibe of their places. I have just recently eaten at Kimchi with a few of my friends. Kimchi is a 4-storey restaurant and bar. The first two floors are where there actual restaurant is....

        I had not eaten in a Japanese restaurant for the longest time and so I did not really know what to expect when my sister and her husband invited me, along with my mom and my sister-in-law and my niece, to eat in Wakanatsu Yakiniku, a quaint Jap resto. I, of course, know of sushis, sashimis, and tempuras and that's about it. Wakanatsu Yakiniku is located on the second floor of a buiding in front of Wishing Well bar in Angeles City. The restaurant offers unlimited Japanese food. Forgive me but all I have are few photos and not a list of food of what we've eaten. It is the experience I had which I would like to share. Wakanatsu Yakiniku could sit less than a hundred customers, with about ten tables. It is relatively small for a place that offers unlimited food.  It is quiant but I could not say cozy. When we arrived in the restaurant, the first words I heard from the servers were "tanggalin po shoes nyo" ("take off your shoes") and not pleas...

I finally found time to go a skin clinic, this, with some prodding from my cousin Claudine. She said she has complementary vouchers from Nouvelle Clinic and we could have free diamond peeling. Nouvelle Clinic in Angeles City is relatively new. I think my cousin and I are one of the clinic's first customers.  I had diamond peeling done on me quite a lot and I know which clinics do good and which ones are worth going back to, and Nouvelle is.  We were greeted by the owner, whose name I forgot to ask. All I know is that we met fab fashion designer Brit Tripudio who is a brother of the owner. I really do not know as I have not asked a lot of questions. Brit said the grand launching of the clinic is in June.  I would not want to delve on the prices but I could say their services and products are reasonably priced.
